BRAG’s Annual Scholarship and Awards Dinner Gala highlights the achievements of distinguished leaders in retail and related industries who believe and support the BRAG vision.  It also provides financial scholarships to deserving students who exhibit financial need.  BRAG, through this event, offers its members networking opportunities, introduces its members to CEOs and other senior corporate executives, and supports professional development. The Gala also serves as the organization's key fundraising event for its scholarship, mentoring, and training programs. 

The BRAG Business Achievement Award honors industry leaders for their achievements and professionalism. 

The JJ Thomas Business Achiever's Award, named after one of BRAG’s founding members, is given to a single honoree selected to receive recognition for their innovations in retail. 

The BRAG Legacy Award was created to recognize individuals who have participated and benefited from the many programs the organization offers. 

Special Recognition Award recognizes exceptional individuals who have succeeded in areas of retail and related industries that promote the acceptance and participation of men and women of color at all levels. 

Corporate Award is given to corporate sponsors who have assisted the organization in its quest to eliminate discrimination on the basis of race or native origin
