BRAG Summer Internship Program

The BRAG Summer Internship is a comprehensive 11-week work and professional development module designed to expose African American and other college students of color to retail and retail related fields in a no-nonsense realistic setting.

Beginning the first Monday in June the eleven-week program is action-packed with seminars, workshops, retail math classes, a business case study and executive level work responsibilities. In addition, BRAG provides each intern with a mentor, one-on-one counseling, a summer picnic where interns can interact with the BRAG board of directors and members of the sponsoring companies and a dress-for-success workshop.

The intern candidates must have completed their junior year of studies toward a Bachelors degree or be seniors who will graduate in the fall of the year they do the internship. The students must have a 3.0 grade point average and they should also have a genuine interest in retail as a possible career choice. The selection criteria for each intern, utilizes the same screening used by companies to employ entry-level candidates for their respective training programs and entry-level career opportunities.

If you are a student and you meet the above criteria to participate please please email your resume to intern@bragusa.org. Someone will get back to you if there is interest in pursuing your candidacy.
