BRAG Scholarship Program
More than 2 decades ago the BRAG scholarship fund was founded as a means of providing needed financial assistance to African Americans and other students of color. The BRAG Board of Directors is proud to say we have stayed the course. We understand leadership and good citizenship come with education. To that end, BRAG is firmly committed to our continued support of students who are pursuing a career in retail and related industries
The BRAG Scholarship is based on need, scholastic achievement and community service. You may re-apply for the scholarship throughout your college career. The awards are to be used for tuition, books and/or supplies and will be disbursed in January of the school calendar year for college students and the following Fall for High School students.
The money must be used within a one-school-year period. All monies not used within the designated period will revert back to the BRAG Scholarship Fund.
All scholarship funds are allocated directly to the University, not to the student.
An essay of 300-500 words on: The Business Case for Diversity in retail and related industries in an Economic Downturn must be submitted with your application.
