The BRAG summer internship is a comprehensive work and professional development program designed to expose students of color to the fashion, retail and related fields.
The program includes a one week orientation consisting of seminars, workshops, retail math classes, and a business case study along with executive-level work responsibilities. Additionally, BRAG provides each intern with a mentor, one-on-one counseling, a Broadway Theater experience, and opportunities to interact with Industry professionals.
To become a BRAG intern, candidates must have completed either their sophomore or junior year of studies toward a bachelor's degree or be seniors who will graduate in the fall of the year they complete the internship. Students must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and a genuine interest in fashion and retail Industries as a possible career choice. The selection process of each intern utilizes the same screening used by companies to employ entry-level candidates for their respective training programs and entry-level career opportunities.
The BRAG Summer Internship Program is an immersive experience in the business of fashion. Students have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the industry through practical experience, seminars, and networking with industry professionals. Upon completion of the Internship Program, students have the tools required to become leaders and shape the future of the business of fashion.
